The Chai Tea vol. 1
Spilling 18 Ways to Support Our Tribe this Week!

Welcome to the first cup of The Chai Tea!
Before I spill this week’s list, I want to give you some background as to who I am, how I got here, and why.
I know that many of you will agree when I say: Life as we knew it changed on October 7th. The following day I opened my mouth on Instagram and started talking. And I haven't stopped.
I lost 5,000 followers. But honestly, let them go. I’ve gained over 27,000 new members of my community simply by speaking my truth. I’ve connected with the right people and that's what matters most.
What you may not know about me is that when I'm not fighting for, supporting and lifting up the Jewish community, I'm doing the same for female entrepreneurs. In 2010 I started a community for parents that I grew and later sold. When I exited, my mission was simple: to help other women build and grow their businesses too.
I guess you can say that I moonlight as an Accidental Activist. My day job is as a Marketing Consultant, Business Mentor and host of the podcast, Dear FoundHer…, teaching other women how to build their own businesses through marketing made simple.
Life does look different these days, but as you hear me say often....we must find the silver linings. And it's on the darkest of days that I think about these and find a glimmer of hope. Some of my silver linings include:
🌟 Accidental Activism has connected me with so many of you. My world has expanded in the most incredible ways possible.
🌟 Many of you joined my group mentorship: Marketing Made Simple for Small Business. The community of like-minded, women business owners we’ve formed there is incredible.
🌟 I’ve landed some incredible consulting projects, many of which have come to me through your connections, trust and faith in me.
🌟 I've traveled to incredible places across 🇺🇲 speaking up and speaking out in your communities.
And a few weeks ago when I shared about my friends @big.fat.cookie, one of the biggest silver linings yet: You guys showed up, BIG TIME. A gesture that opened my eyes to the power of what we can accomplish here because we're better together.
And so I bring to you the first edition of The Chai Tea, my latest endeavor that marries my Jewish advocacy and my 💙 for entrepreneurship + small business.
Each week I’ll be spilling 18 ways you can support our tribe. The newsletter goes out on Sunday, and I’ll send a repeat to new subscribers throughout the week on Thursday. The newsletter will be available for free in your inbox. If you’re a premium subscriber, you’ll have access to the archives and previous editions on our website too, as well as a whole other host of perks.
My ask of you when it comes to these businesses is VERY SIMPLE: FOLLOW THEM, SHARE THEM, or BUY FROM THEM.
Show them the love.
If you like what you see here, share this newsletter with your friends, encourage them to subscribe too! We’re better together…and the larger our community around here, the bigger the difference we can make.
And, if you’re a premium subscriber, scroll to the bottom, where you’ll find some incredible discounts from many of the entities listed here. Don’t forget, 18% of your premium subscription will be donated to the non-profit featured in our monthly Tikkun Olam Spotlight below.
If you have a business we should meet, please give them this form to fill out. Questions or comments—-feel free to hit reply and let me know. It’s my goal to continue to highlight Jewish-owned businesses and I would love for you to share your favorites with me too!
Are you ready to put some good back into this world?
The tea’s been brewing…and now I’m ready to spill.
See you next week.
Same time, same place.
Shavua Tov,
Lindsay Pinchuk, Founder of The Chai Tea
NOTE: Every brand mentioned below was selected by me. I was not paid to mention any of the brands listed here. These are simply some of my favorite Jewish-owned businesses.
In no particular order….I’m spilling 18 ways you can support our tribe this week:
FOR EVERYONE….

Not only is this a Jewish-owned company, but Inspiro Tequila is a clean, additive-free, meticulously crafted tequila that’s distilled, owned and led by women. You can find this beautiful bottle on shelves in Illinois, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, or online. (BONUS: If you’re a premium subscriber of The Chait Tea, you’ll find a discount below.) If you want to learn more about this incredible brand, you can listen to founder + CEO, Mara Smith, share it on the Dear FoundHer… podcast. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
Big Fat Cookie: The inspiration behind The Chai Tea, there was no way I wouldn’t remind you here how much I love these cookies. Adulting 101 Masterclass: Recruiter and HR veteran, Heather Redisch, recently launched this class to bridge the gap from college to adulthood…and EVERY recent graduate should be enrolled. Signing up your recent college grad, or letting those you know about this class is a true act of Tikkun Olam…for all of us. And there’s a great discount if you’re a premium subscriber….keep scrolling. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
Elisa Solomon Jewelry: You’ve seen my CHAI that I wear daily, and the beautiful giveaway we did on IG this week (you can still get in on it!) Elisa not only will be giving back 25% of all CHAI sales this month to our Tikkun Olam Spotlight below…but she’s giving you 20% off almost everything on her site (make sure you scroll down to grab that code if you’re a premium subscriber.) FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
Jessica’s Natural Granola: My family goes through three bags a week. Legit. Not only is Jessica’s the first gluten free granola, made in a GF facility, but it’s DELICIOUS. Once you try it, you’ll never put another granola on your shelf again! Did I mention that Jessica is my friend from Jewish overnight camp??? You can find her granola at Whole Foods nationwide plus THOUSANDS of other stores, OR you can use the premium discount code below and stock up from her site. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
Devotion Nutrition: I met founder Dana Lynn Kaye when she was a guest on Dear FoundHer… her story is off the charts amazing. Devotion sells high quality, delicious functional protein powder and hydration packets. And did I mention that the entire line is CERTIFIED KOSHER!? They also recently launched a cook book that you’ll want to grab as well. (She’s giving our premium subscribers a discount too!) FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
Laura Burak, Get Naked Nutrition: Through nutrition counseling, Laura helps you to become your happiest, healthiest self at any age. From 1:1 and group coaching, workplace wellness and a prep course, make sure you check Laura out. On a personal note, Laura’s grandparents were and her in-laws ARE Holocaust survivors. When we emailed she noted, “It’s so important to me to help other Jews feel safe to come to me as a healthcare provider.” And Laura so graciously is providing premium subscribers with a discount. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
FOR A LITTLE SOMETHING JEWISH…
Everyday Yiddish: This incredible company celebrates the unique humor, sarcasm and joy of the Yiddish language and culture. Founder, Jody Kamen, is based in Toronto, and launched Everyday Yiddish after many years of wishing Jewish greeting cards were a little less blue and a little more in her own voice. Don’t plotz…but Jody is giving a generous discount to premium subscribers as well—-scroll down and stock up before the holidays. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
Arielle Zorger Designs: Hand-painted, modern Judaica art…the holidays are coming and Arielle Zorger has the perfect gift for anyone on your list. And not to mention, a discount for premium subscribers too! FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
FOR YOUR OWN BUSINESS….
Ali Gordon Designs: Ali has done all of my logos and graphic design work for every single one of my businesses…including The Chai Tea. She is one of a few graphic designers I always throw in the ring when making a recommendation, and I want to give her a shout out here. FOLLOW, SHARE or HIRE
Big Voice Social: Along similar lines, I have a handful of Social Media Managers and agencies I often recommend to clients and small business owners. Shane Shaps and Big Voice Social is one of them. Her team represents brands in their voice on social media. If you’re a premium subscriber, she’s offering something pretty big to those of you needing some social media management, scroll down to find out. FOLLOW, SHARE or HIRE
Shay James Photography: While this is pretty specific to the Chicago area, (unless you want to fly her out!) Tracy Bielenberg, Founder of Shay James Photography, has captured my most recent events and business branding through her camera lens. She is another service provider that I recommend often—-along with a handful of others—-and one that many of my own clients have used. Not only has she taken my pictures, but she also trusted me as a client—-which is a HUGE honor. I adore her and hope that you show her some love too. FOLLOW, SHARE or HIRE
TWO BUSINESSES WHO NEED OUR HELP….
Hotel Blue Moon in New York City: I read about this hotel on LinkedIn this week. They’re being targeted by pro-Hamas protestors who have set up camp outside to protest their mere existence because they are Jewish-owned. Obviously, it’s impacting business. Please check them out. FOLLOW, SHARE or BOOK A STAY
Detroit Institute of Bagels: A recent article in the Jerusalem Post detailed how their entire staff walked out when they realized that the owner was pro-Israel. Mind-blowing I know, and also just shows how moronic our world is. These people were working for a bagel shop…that also makes a whole host of Jewish food. While it seems they are currently closed, their website says they’re hiring. So spread the word. Also, FOLLOW THEM.
IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO READ….

Cold Crematorium, Reporting from the Land of Auschwitz. From journalist, poet and survivor, Jozsef Debreczeni, this is a lost classic recently translated for the first time. It was sent to me recently and I can’t wait to start reading it. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
My What If Year, a Memoir, by Alisha Fernandez Miranda. Definitely lighter than my other recommendation this week, I picked up this book at a conference I spoke at a last year. Alisha left her job as a high-powered CEO, and left her home in London to spend one year exploring the dream jobs of her youth, seeking to answer the question, “What if?” I loved this book and hope that you do too. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
And last but not least….check out how you can give back this week…and all month long to The Friends of the IDF…

Every single month we’ll be choosing a Jewish non-profit to profile, talk about and give back to all month long. How will we give back? It’s easy…together.
First and foremost, 18% of new premium subscriptions each month will be donated at the end of the month to the non-profit we spotlight. Additionally, partners who raise their hand each month will donate a portion of sales as well. We also may host events in the future and of course, YOU can always make a donation as well.
This month’s Tikkun Olam Spotlight, and #18 on our list this week is The Friends of the IDF.
The IDF’s job is to look after Israel, and our job is to look after them. Many of you have asked often over the past ten months where you can make a meaningful charitable donation. The Friends of the IDF helps to support these heroic individuals with supplies and medical equipment, emergency well-being support, wounded and bereaved soldier support, lone soldier support and more.
This month, as will be the case every month, we’ll give back 18% of new premium subscription revenue from The Chai Tea to our Tikkun Olam Spotlight as our own contribution to put some good back into the world. THIS MONTH, Elisa Solomon has also committed to donating 25% of revenue from the sale of her Chai necklaces. (She’s also giving you 20% off almost everything on her website…just another reason to become a premium member around here.)
Join us in giving back this month and every month…it costs less than a cup of coffee (or tea…).
If you’re already a premium member, please keep scrolling and check out all of the amazing discounts from the first cup of The Chai Tea…if you want to upgrade, we’d love to have you. Click below to check out the perks.
