The Chai Tea Vol. 7

Spilling 18 Ways to Support Our Tribe this Week!

Shavua Tov everyone!

This weekend has been incredibly special. JWI, Jewish Women International, asked me to be a speaker at their inaugural event here in Chicago. The room was buzzing from the most incredible group of Jewish women who simply wanted to be together. And the best part? My oldest daughter joined me this morning. She also served as my videographer and photographer, so that was an added bonus 🙂 If you’re not familiar with JWI and their mission, please check them out.

Friday night was also the final Shabbat before the High Holidays. I sent you a message about the Chabad Rebbe and his campaign 50 years ago for all girls and women over the age of three to light Shabbat candles. I hope that yours burned bright going into the High Holidays.

As the holiest of days in our religion are upon us, you are will be receiving a VERY special edition of The Chai Tea this week…just wait, it is awesome. And then we will be taking next Sunday off for the holidays, returning with a new edition on Sunday, October 13th.

Make sure you scroll and check out our new Tikkun Olam Spotlight. And know that we will be updating you here and on my Instagram with ways to remember October 7th, which is a date that is also upon us. You will be hearing from me, I promise.

But for now, are you ready to put some good back into this world?

The tea’s been brewing all week…and now I’m ready to spill.

More in a few days…

xx,

Lindsay Pinchuk, Founder of The Chai Tea

But when you become a premium subscriber around here, 18% of your subscription this month will go to this incredible organization.

This month’s Tikkun Olam Spotlight, is THE TRIBE OF NOVA.

THE TRIBE OF NOVA’S GOAL IS TO support long-term recovery from trauma for survivors and the bereaved families of the Nova Music Festival massacre on October 7th. They provide a community-based support system that fosters post-traumatic growth, reduces isolation, and mitigates the risks of trauma.

My goal is to be able to make an $1800 donation this month—-which will sponsor six survivors on a weekend recovery healing retreat.

Every month The Chai Tea gives 18% of new premium subscription revenue to our Tikkun Olam Spotlight as our own contribution to put some good back into the world. Join us in giving back this month and every month…it costs less than a cup of coffee (or tea…).

If you’re already a premium member, please keep scrolling and check out all of the amazing discounts from many of the businesses we’ve shared…if you want to upgrade, we’d love to have you. PLUS, our monthly Zoom meetups will start after the High Holidays. Stay tuned!
