The Chai Tea Vol. 6

Spilling 18 Ways to Support Our Tribe this Week!

Shavua Tov everyone!

Last week I asked you to vote on when The Chai Tea landed in your inbox. Guess what? The votes were virtually tied—there was a one vote differential. But given the amount of opens on Sunday vs. Monday, I am going to try my hardest to get these out on Sunday night.

From the beepers and walkie talkies in Lebanon, to a TON of antisemitic tropes all over from every which direction last week…we need something good to start this week. I hope that you look at this newsletter as just that.

Whether you’re new around here or not, I want to remind you: Every week my call to action here is VERY SIMPLE in regards to the businesses, organizations and entities that I share: FOLLOW THEM, SHARE THEM, or BUY FROM THEM.

So, if you like what you see here, share this newsletter with your friends, and encourage them to subscribe too! We’re better together…and the larger our community around here, the bigger the difference we can make for one another.

If you have a business we should meet, please give them this form to fill out. I choose everyone featured each week from the form—-feel free to pass it to your friends and family.

Guess what? I am headed out of town, out of the office and on to VACATION for the first part of this week. So if you don’t see me on social media for the next few days…that’s why. I am truly going to try to unplug and relax.

But for now, are you ready to put some good back into this world?

The tea’s been brewing all week…and now I’m ready to spill.

See you next week.

Same time, same place.

xx,

Lindsay Pinchuk, Founder of The Chai Tea

In no particular order….I’m spilling 18 ways you can support our tribe this week:

SOME URGENT ACTION THAT’S NEEDED…

  1. I shared a few weeks ago about The Historic Blue Moon Hotel on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The Jewish owners of this boutqiue hotel are continuously being harassed. There are protestors outside of their location, family members are being targeted and honestly it is horrific. A fund has been set up to help this family during this time. Please consider a stay when you are in town OR please consider a donation to help. FOLLOW and DONATE

  2. UNMASK THE HATE: Please take a minute to sign this letter to unmask the hate on college campuses. Our college aged students need our support now more than ever and this campaign is pushing American colleges to ban the wearing of masks during protests on campus. SIGN THE LETTER

A LITTLE GIFT SO YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF…

SOME OF MY FAVORITE JEWISH FOLLOWS…

  1. Samantha Ettus: While we traveled in similar founder circles for years, it wasn’t until Sam and I met through our advocacy that we truly connected. Make sure you FOLLOW an SHARE her account and for more information and news from Sam.
