The Chai Tea: Spicing Up Your New Year

Open up for a very special edition of our newsletter, just in time for your holiday.

L’Shana Tova.

I am going to be very transparent with you. This newsletter is being scheduled to send out on Tuesday evening for Wednesday morning. Earlier today, the Iranian Regime launched the largest ever attack on Israel, and as I type this, we are not sure the response.

While we pray for Israel and the IDF, we will also still move forward with our plans to celebrate one of our holiest days of the year, Rosh Hashana. And as you and I both know, those celebrations include a whole lotta food.

The idea for this edition of The Chai Tea came from my brilliant best friend, who also happens to be a writer, Samantha Lande. She asked me if she could take over the newsletter to share with us her favorite Jewish cookbooks in time for the holidays.

I couldn’t imagine a better distraction for all of us.

Here’s how you can support Samantha:

And for now…enjoy her recommendations…this is one edition of The Chai Tea you’re going to want to save…forever.

L’Shana Tova,

Lindsay Pinchuk, Founder of The Chai Tea

So many Jewish family traditions revolve around eating…if we’re being honest!  I am fortunate enough to try a bunch of cookbooks before they go to market (I’m even a recipe tester for an upcoming Jewish cookbook…stay tuned!) and there are some great ones out there.

So for the upcoming Jewish holidays I am sharing 18 of my favorites with all of you. I hope you find a few gems that allow you to start new traditions with your family and friends for the Jewish holidays and throughout the year. Shanah Tovah!
