Why it's important to support small businesses...
Hi again!
I know that you're waiting for me to spill the tea this month…and I promise, it’s coming…our first official newsletter will drop on August 11th. And from then on, The Chai Tea will spill into your inbox the first Sunday of the month. If you can’t wait, you can always upgrade for a little Nosh if you want to hear from us weekly (and receive some kick-a$$ discounts from our friends.)
But since you're here, I wanted to take a sec to share a little about me and WHY it's important to me to support and promote other small businesses.
The answer is simple…because I'm a small business owner too. For nearly fifteen years, I've been pouring my heart and soul into my own businesses. When you feel the love from others for your business, you realize how important it is to spread the love about others' as well.
Since becoming an entrepreneur almost fifteen years ago, I've been operating a small business. I sold my first business and I exited in 2021 with the goal to help other female founders grow their businesses too. And I started all over again with Lindsay Pinchuk Marketing + Consulting and my community, Dear FoundHer…
Supporting other small business owners has always been a priority…and I've been doing it since the early days of my first company, Bump Club and Beyond. All of our local events and programming were designed to support the local businesses in the communities we operated in.
Which brings me to today….
Many of you found me after October 7th when I spoke up and became an “Accidental Activist” on Instagram. And each and every week, many of you ask: "When you're not saving the Jewish community and talking about Israel, what do you do?"
Despite the fact that our lives changed on October 7th, I’m still a Female Founder who built and sold her 7-figure business. I'm now a Marketing Consultant and Business Mentor teaching others how to do the same through my process, Marketing Made Simple.
I’m a forever advocate for female founded small businesses, hosting a top 1.5% Global podcast, Dear FoundHer…. But since October 7th, I’m also an “Accidental Activist”—a hat I wear proudly.
And every single day you ask me in my DMs and on my social media: what can I do to help. And so I bring you The Chai Tea, my initiative to marry my advocacy for the Jewish Community with my passion for supporting small businesses.
The call-to-action is simple: support the businesses we share here. FOLLOW THEM. Sign up for their newsletters. SHARE THEM. BUY FROM THEM.
It honestly doesn’t take much to make a big difference.
During a time when one could feel so isolated, I am so lucky to have this incredible community lifting me up every single day. And now it’s time to life up the others around us and each other.
B’shalom,
Lindsay
