The Chai Tea Vol. 2
Spilling 18 Ways to Support Our Tribe this Week!

WOW. That is really the only word that comes to mind after the last week. I’m honored and humbled that you’re here, that you're sharing The Chai Tea with your family and friends, and that so many of you have reached out to tell me that you can’t wait for more.
I’ve come to two conclusions based on what I’m seeing here and on social media:
We must continue to speak out, share these stories and call out the haters behind them.
We’re also better together—-and while we continue to call out the haters, we must also rise above and spread some love too.
Before I spill this week’s list, I want to share a few things that I hope come from this community here:
🌟 I hope that you show the love to the businesses we share here AND all Jewish-owned businesses you know. While buying from them is nice, you can also show them love by following them on social media, signing up for their email list and telling friends about them. It only takes a few minutes.
🌟 I hope that you’re inspired to share this form with Jewish-owned businesses you know. We want to meet them so that we can share them with this incredible community! Here is a link to the form, just copy and paste: https://forms.gle/P1GPx72oEKZi44nt9
🌟 I hope that we can come together to focus on something positive: supporting these amazing businesses and organizations. I don’t know a single small business owner who couldn’t use a little surge in support.
🌟 I hope that you remember these businesses and come back to them throughout the year.
🌟 I hope that you enjoy this initiative so much that you will share it with your family and friends and encourage them to subscribe. We’re better together…and the larger our community around here, the bigger the difference we can make.
Are you ready to put some good back into this world?
The tea’s been brewing…and now I’m ready to spill. Keep scrolling to drink it up.
See you next week.
Same time, same place.
Shavua Tov,
Lindsay Pinchuk, Founder of The Chai Tea
NOTE: Every brand mentioned below was selected by me. I was not paid to mention any of the brands listed here. These are simply some of my favorite Jewish-owned businesses.
In no particular order….I’m spilling 18 ways you can support our tribe this week:
A TIMELY CALL-TO-ACTION AS WE WORK TO PRESERVE THE TRUTH ABOUT OCTOBER 7TH….

#1
Meet my friend, Haley Geffen, a six-time Emmy award-winning director and filmmaker with a focus on underrepresented voices. Haley is also a fierce supporter of the Jewish community. After a recent trip to Israel, hearing the stories of many survivors of October 7th, she’s now putting her energy into what she does best: She’s making a documentary.
‘Safe Room’ is a survival story about four families who ended up together in one safe room - under the most unconscionable circumstances, while under siege. All of the featured survivors are committed to the project and some agreed to speak for the first time through this film because it centers around the idea of hope and humanity. Haley and her team are hoping to begin filming on the 1 year anniversary of October 7th.
In order for us to bring this critical project to life, Haley’s team of top-tier producers and crew from around the globe, are currently seeking donors to help fund this project. If you are interested please reach out to Lauren Reiss, Producer - Research, Donations & Investments, Safe Room—at [email protected]. This will primarily be donation based under a 501(c)(3). You can also FOLLOW Haley on Instagram and connect with her there.
FOR EVERYONE….

SEED + MILL: Do you see this photo? This is one of my favorite things to eat in the entire universe. It’s vegan soft serve with halva crumbles drizzled with both tahini and Chocolate Sesame Sauce from Seed + Mill in Chelsea Market, New York. And while yes, you have to go to NYC to get the sundae, you can get the tahini and halva sent to you anywhere. Oh—-and if you’re a premium subscriber, you’re getting an 18% off discount below. I’ll be stocking up on so much that my savings will be the equivalent of at least a year subscription around here. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY

Check them out and show them some love. (Premium subscribers—-they’re giving you a double chai discount below!) FOLLOW, SHARE OR BUY

BOOKS FOR YOUR BUSINESS…BY JEWISH AUTHORS
On Brand, by Aliza Licht: Many of you may also know Aliza for her fierce Jewish advocacy, but like me, she also has a day job 😉. Aliza is an incredible marketing expert who specializes in brand strategy. I was lucky to meet Aliza prior to October 7th, when she guested on my podcast, Dear FoundHer… (She has an amazing story and one I would highly suggest you listening to!) But Aliza is also the author of two amazing books. Her most recent one, On Brand, is a MUST READ by any business owner or anyone looking to marketing themselves or a client. This book is like having access to your own CMO. FOLLOW, SHARE OR BUY
The Setback Cycle, by Amy Shoenthal: Journalist an Marketing Consultant, Amy Shoenthal explores how setbacks can fuel innovation and lead you to success in her best-selling book that came out earlier this year. THESE TWO BUSINESSES NEED OUR HELP THIS WEEK…
Ami Jerusalem Street Food in Highwood, IL: Unfortunately, this local business has come under attack online recently for being Jewish. There are a few ways that we can help: leave a rating or review for them, FOLLOW them, if you live in or have friends in the suburbs of Chicago, tell them about this absolute gem of a restaurant.
Ali’s Cookies at Emory in Atlanta, GA: This incredible bakery has been on the receiving end of antisemitism, harassment, threats and a boycott since October 7, 2023 all because it is owned by Jewish people from Israel. Please show them some love—-and if you have kids at Emory, make sure you tell them to stop by and do so in person. FOLLOW, SHARE or BUY
And here are some amazing events happening within the Jewish community in the coming weeks…
August 26th in Chicago! The Chicago Jewish Alliance is bringing POWER GAY comedian, Daniel Ryan Spalding to Chicago! As one of the biggest allies of the Jewish community, his videos lampooning brainwashed celebrities have gone viral and made him a living legend among Jews and beyond. You can get tickets here. The Nova Exhibition is OPEN in Los Angeles! I was lucky enough to visit this powerful exhibit during a trip to NYC this spring. If you missed it there, you can now bear witness to the events that took place on October 7th at the Nova Music Festival through this incredibly powerful exhibit. EVERYONE who has the chance to go, should. This is one you do not want to miss. FOLLOW, SHARE or VISIT
